Brief Description

The Australian Centre for International Agriculture and Research (ACIAR) has established the ACIAR Pacific Agriculture Scholarships and Support and Climate Resilience (PASS-CR) Program for the academic year 2022-2023 to enable scholars to research agricultural problems and build relevant professional networks.

All qualified overseas students from the designated countries are entitled to apply for a PhD or master’s degree program at The University of the South Pacific or Fiji National University. A tuition cost for the chosen program will be given for up to two or three years of study.

Scholarship Award Benefit

All of the following will be provided by the university:

  • The chosen applicants will have their tuition fees covered for up to 24 months for the Master’s degree and up to three years for the PhD program at USP or FNU.

Eligibility Criteria

All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the ACIAR Pacific Agriculture Scholarships and Support and Climate Resilience Program at Australian Centre for International Agriculture and Research, Australia 2022-23:

  • Candidates must be citizens of Fiji, Kiribati, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, or Vanuatu and currently reside there.
  • Candidates must satisfy the requirements for postgraduate study at USP or FNU.
  • Candidates must be able to fulfill government and university standards in order to go to Fiji for study at FNU or USP Laucala, or Samoa for study at USP Alafua.

Application Procedure
