Scholarship Award Benefit
Successful candidates of The EPSRC Scholarships At The University Of Kent In UK are provided with doctoral stipend of £15,609. This is the 21/22 rate. 22/23 will be announced later. This is equal to the Council’s UK National Minimum Doctoral Stipend.
NOTE: The Scholarship award is valid for 3.5 years for the home rate. There could be an extension of research support later. Eligible Countries
Eligibility Criteria
The following are criteria that must be met to be eligible for the scholarship scheme:
- Be a student from a reputable university, both home and abroad. To be classed as a home student, applicants must meet any of the RCUK residency criteria. This is stated below:
- You must meet the UKRI residence requirements
- Possess a settle status
- Possess a pretty-settled status
- Possess indefinite leave to enter or remain
- Applicants must have exceptional academic record
- A minimum of second class upper honors degree in any reputable university
- A master’s degree or equivalent
NOTE: Kent waves the difference between Home and Overseas fees if you are applying as an overseas student.
