Eligibility Criteria
All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Scholarships for Asylum Seekers at Buckinghamshire New University, UK 2023-24:
- A letter from the Home Office or an Application Registration Card (ARC) verifying your status as an asylum seeker (under-1951 UN Convention)
- owing to your immigration status, be unable to get money from the Student Loan Company.
- not already possess an undergraduate or graduate degree.
- You have a proposal from Buckinghamshire New University, either conditional or unconditional.
- You must be enrolling full-time in an undergraduate, graduate, or foundation program at one of our sites, including High Wycombe, Uxbridge, or Aylesbury.

- If you are given this scholarship and decide to accept it, you must notify the Home Office that you will no longer be receiving Asylum Seeker assistance. Before accepting our Scholarship, you should ask the home office what consequences receiving Asylum Seeker help will have.
- During their studies, students must notify the bursary team of any changes to their immigration status.
