All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Africa Masters Scholarship Program for International Students at the University of Essex, UK 2022-23:

  • Be a national of an African nation (designated as a member state of the African Union) and habitually resides in an African nation be completely self-supporting your studies
  • Be a graduate of any African nation or one of the countries listed above, and be applying for a full-time Masters program beginning in 2020-21. (excluding MBA)

    • Bangladesh, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Norway, Pakistan, Russia, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, USA, Vietnam
  • Selection Criteria: Your eligibility will be determined by the academic transcripts and certificates you submit with your application for a seat at Essex.
