Green Talents – International Forum for High Potentials in Sustainable Development is an annual event hosted by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. It encourages the exchange of creative green ideas on a global scale in the realm of sustainability.

All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Government Of Germany Fully-Funded Green Talents Award at Selected German Universities, Germany 2022-23:
- Enrollment in a master’s or doctoral program, or a master’s or doctoral degree finished no later than three years before the application deadline
- In every sector of sustainability research, a strong focus on sustainable development and an interdisciplinary approach are essential.
- Professional employment experience of no more than three years (this excludes professional work experiences gained within the scope of an academic degree)
- Excellent mastery of the English language with significantly above-average marks
- Individuals who are not German citizens nor German residents are consequently ineligible to apply: Holders of German passports, as well as anybody temporarily residing in Germany at the time of application)
