Brief Description
All students at Teesside University will have a teaching and learning experience that is genuinely global. We are happy to provide Deans’ foreign Scholarships in order to promote applications from foreign students in fields where they are currently underrepresented, particularly in our School of Social Sciences, Humanities & Law and in the School of Arts & Creative Industries.

All qualified candidates on a foundational, undergraduate, or postgraduate program are awarded a Scholarship of £3,000 as a fee waiver in their first full academic year of study. Those who are applying for a foundation or gateway program at the Teesside University International Study Centre are not eligible for the scholarship, but they will be when they move to a full degree program there.

Eligibility Criteria
All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Deans’ International Scholarships at the Teesside University, UK 2023-24:
- You must be a relative (spouse, brother, kid, grandchild, etc.) of a Bangor University alumnus from outside the United States OR you must have previously attended Bangor University.
- You must be partially or entirely self-funded. The Scholarship is not available to applicants who are completely sponsored by a third party.
- For students only who are paying International Tuition Fee Levels.
Application Procedure
The following procedure remains the only viable route to apply rightfully:
- Applying to study at Teesside for the first time on a foundation, undergraduate, or postgraduate degree in the School of Social Sciences, Humanities & Law or in the School of Arts & Creative Industries.
- A full-time, sponsored or self-funded overseas student beginning their studies in September 2023
- Please be aware that this scholarship cannot be combined with any other Teesside University award.
