All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the International Undergraduate Performance Sport Scholarships at the University of Strathclyde, UK 2022-23:
- All candidates must compete in a Sport Scotland-recognized sport, with preference given to students playing in a BUCS sport who can demonstrate the ability to help the University achieve its goal of being ranked in the top 20 in the UK. In addition, all applicants should have competed internationally at the junior, if not senior, level.
- Furthermore, we actively encourage students to participate in disability sport at an elite level, and our new £31 million Sports Facility is entirely accessible.
- We accept a variety of English language examinations as proof of competency in the English language. The IELTS test is the most extensively used. The British Council’s website has further information about this.

- In the Faculty of Science, IELTS (Academic): 6.0 overall (no individual band less than 5.5)
