Brief Description

For the academic year 2022-2023, the Ministry of Education is pleased to provide the MOE Short Term Research Awards to help excellent applicants in Taiwan.

This prize was developed by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to encourage persons from other countries to do short-term study in Taiwan in order to better understand Taiwanese culture and society and to promote exchanges and cooperation between Taiwan and other nations.

Scholarship Award Benefit

All of the following will be provided by the university:

  • PhD applicants will get a NT$25,000 monthly research allowance, while Post Doctoral Fellows will receive a NT$40,000 monthly research stipend.
  • One round-trip economy-class ticket to Taiwan on the most direct route (The maximum subsidized amount is determined by the MOE.)
  • The fellowship lasts for two to six months.

Eligibility Criteria
