Every year, the UEA Music Centre presents a variety of Music Centre Awards to new and continuing students who exhibit great musical achievement and dedication.

Musicians of any instrument, voice, style, or tradition, including many national traditions, are eligible for the honors. They are designed to motivate those who receive them to advance their musical and leadership abilities and make a meaningful contribution to music at UEA. High performance standards are anticipated, but taking the initiative in the university’s musical life is just as crucial. Application takes place after enrolling at UEA, often during the second week of the fall semester.

Eligibility Criteria

All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Music Centre Award at the University of East Anglia, UK 2023-24:

  • No prerequisites must have been completed. At the audition, a high caliber of performance might be shown.   • You will be asked to an audition if you persuasively argue during your interview how you can advance music at UEA. You will be required to play three distinct pieces with a combined total performance time of no more than 10 minutes during the audition, which will last ten minutes.
