Vice Chancellor’s Africa Scholarships are available at the University of Dundee for qualified students. The scholarship allows students to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. 

International students who will be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught program for the academic year 2022/2023 are eligible to apply.

Scholarship Award Benefit

All of the following will be provided for the successful applicants of the Scholarships at the University of Dundee

  • The University of Dundee will pay £5,000 each year of study – up to a maximum of £25,000 – to African candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Vice Chancellor’s Africa Scholarships at the University of Dundee, UK 2022:

  • Have a full-time undergraduate course offer, excluding any courses in the School of Medicine or School of Dentistry. 
  • Over the course of one year, a full-time, 180-credit postgraduate teaching course. You may be eligible for the award in both years if you are enrolled in a two-year full-time postgraduate teaching programme. 
  • Be a citizen of an African nation (please check the full list of eligible countries). 
  • Have been granted international fee status by the University of Dundee.

Application Procedure

  • Applicants must enroll in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program at the university to be considered for the scholarship. This scholarship does not have its own application form. 
  • Academic Records, CV, Copy of Passport, Two References, and Letters of Recommendation must all be submitted by the applicants.
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree certificate with exceptional academic success in order to be considered for admission. 
  • Language Requirement: We provide all of our courses in English. If English isn’t your first language, you’ll need to show that you have the language abilities necessary to participate in class discussions, comprehend lectures, and complete your assignments.
