Eligibility Criteria

All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for South Asia Scholarships at University of Tasmania, Australia  2022-23:

• Be a citizen of a country in South Asia.
• Be designated as an international student as determined by the University of Tasmania’s application requirements.
• For the first time, I started at the University of Tasmania.
• Not be a student from one of the University of Tasmania’s Transnational Education (TNE) partners.
• Not starting at the University of Tasmania through an articulation agreement with a partner university (for example, 2+2 degree programs)
• Their program will begin in 2022. (any study period).

• Requirement for language: The following English language competence examinations must be completed by the students:
  • CAE- Grade C IELTS 6.0 TOEFL IBT 76 PTE – 50
  • Grade C of the CPE
  • UTAS English for Academic Purposes – 60% Cambridge BCE – Grade C
