At Teesside University, Sir Keith Skeoch kindly established a new scholarship fund in 2013. For students enrolling in postgraduate courses at Teesside University International Business School and the University’s School of Social Sciences, Humanities & Law, Sir Skeoch is providing four £2,500 scholarships.

Since joining as Chief Investment Officer in 1999, Sir Keith Skeoch has served as Standard Life Investments’ Chief Executive and as a Director. Additionally, since 2006, he has been on the Board of Standard Life plc. He was raised in Guisborough where he was born.

- You firmly accept the position that has been offered to you, enrolling in a programme at Teesside University, and beginning to study in September 2023 or January 2024.
- You must demonstrate your continued participation in your course, successful progress in your course, and successful re-enrollment in your course each year for the duration of your course where the scholarship or award requires multiple payments or payment over more than one academic year.
if the scholarship or award is a one-time payment, that you fulfill the three-month minimum enrollment criteria for your course.
In the event that you fail to fulfill the aforementioned requirements or decide to drop out of your course or alter it midway through your studies (for example, to switch to a degree apprenticeship), the University has the right to revoke, rescind, or limit an award or scholarship.
Please be aware that all qualified candidates will be informed of their status by August 31, 2023.
By this date, if you have not heard anything, kindly assume that your application was failed.
The recipients of scholarships must fulfill all the requirements (some of which will be confirmed by your application to the Student Loans Company) and enroll in courses at Teesside University in order to be eligible for award.
