The Rhodes Trust Scholarships are a postgraduate scholarship program that helps deserving students from all around the world study at Oxford University.

More than 90 Rhodes Scholars chosen from 20 Rhodes constituencies (64 nations) worldwide receive the Rhodes Trust Scholarships each year to pursue postgraduate degrees at Oxford University. They are exceptional young people with a variety of backgrounds and interests who have the potential to become civic-minded leaders for the future of the planet.

Eligibility Criteria

All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the University of Sydney Scholar Awards For International Undergraduate Students,  Australia 2023-24:

  • Domestic or international student
  • High academic achiever
  • Applying for an undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney
  • be a domestic or onshore international student who has recently completed or is about to complete an Australian Year 12 qualification, such as the HSC, or an equivalent qualification, such as the International Baccalaureate, and who is applying for admission through UAC.
  • Have an ATAR of 95 to 99.85 or equivalent. Apply in the year you finish your secondary education (if you are offered a Sydney Scholars Award, you may defer it for up to two years).
