The Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts at the university is where Anthony Anderson received his Bachelor of Fine Arts. Anthony claims he commemorated his accomplishment in a club close to the university with his son Nathan and other Howard alumni.

Anthony Anderson predicted that he would not be out-partied by his colleagues who were 22 years old. With my kid, my closest buddy Jerry, also known as “Skinnyboy,” and several other HU 2022 grads, I went to a bar called “Brooklyn” on U street to celebrate, the man claims. “For the record, I still got it even though we partied till 4 a.m.!” I was not going to let a group of 22-year-olds out-party me!

Anthony said that he was a little uneasy on the day of his graduation because he worried that certain officials could prevent him from receiving his diploma. The student said, “I thought as my name was being called, some school official would come over to me and say, ‘We’re sorry to inform you at this late moment but you’re one credit short, so we’re not going to be able to let you walk across the stage,’ or that I failed my final exam in one of my classes.”

Those worries were unfounded, as he earned his degree with honors and graduated. His son Nathan urged him to pursue a higher education. “A sense of accomplishment is my proudest moment. completing the project I began approximately 35 years ago,” he reveals.

Anthony recounted, “Walking across that stage earning my degree while my son Nathan watches. After he was admitted into Howard University, Nathan motivated me to go back and finish my education.”

Anthony Anderson exhibited confidence in his desire to pursue his studies, saying that he is thinking of enrolling in graduate school to earn a master’s degree and subsequently become a teacher.

“I’ve always wanted to teach. possibilities at the Howard University undergraduate level. I can already make out my name, “Professor Anderson,” on the door to my office,” the man replied.
