Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the British Council IELTS Award For Students, the following criteria must be met:
- be 18 years or older on July 31, 2022, have taken an IELTS test at a British Council centre in Germany and received an official Test Report Form (TRF) dated between 1 June 2021 and 30 June 2022 issued by the British Council in Germany, and have received a minimum overall band score of 6.5, as well as a minimum score of 6.5 in each of the four components of the IELTS test, and be planning to enrol in the 2022–23 academic year (i.e. (check the official recognition list.).
- The tuition expenses for the chosen program must be at least £3,000.
- by July 31, 2022, be able to obtain an acceptance letter from the applicable educational organization
- Check the IELTS official recognition list to see if your preferred educational institution accepts IELTS.
- Global IELTS acceptance is increasing all the time, so if the institution you want to attend isn’t listed, we strongly advise you to contact them directly for the most up-to-date admission requirements.
Application Procedure
To apply, all arranged and organized steps have been highlighted below:
Take the IELTS exam at a British Council authorised centre in Germany and receive an official Test Report Form (TRF) from the British Council in Germany dated between 1 June 2021 and 30 June 2022.
A TRF given by a testing center outside of Germany will not be accepted.
Complete and submit the online application form by June 30, 2022, at 14:00 (German time).
