Brief Description

For the academic year 2023–2024, the School of Engineering will grant master’s scholarships.

The Scottish Government provides funding for the scholarships, which are sponsored by the Edinburgh & SE Scotland City Region Deal. The integrated regional employment and skills (IRES) program’s inclusive growth aims and results include the scholarships.

All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the HCI Skills Gateway Scholarships at the University of Edinburgh, UK 2023-24:

This scholarship is accessible to UK, EU, and international students who are residents or employees in the South-East of Scotland, more particularly the council districts of East Lothian, Mid Lothian, West Lothian, City of Edinburgh, Fife, and Scottish Borders.
Candidates must have received admission offers to one of the following programs:
The candidate must be employed in the housing, construction, or infrastructure industry or have clear career goals in order to be considered for the scholarship.
Applications from applicants who belong to underrepresented groups in the construction industry (public and private sectors) are strongly encouraged, especially those who identify as women, BAME, disabled, armed forces veteran, or have care obligations.
