All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the James Cook University International Merit Scholarship For African Students, Australia 2023-24:
- The International Merit Stipend is available to qualified high-achieving African students.
- The International Merit Stipend is not available for all programs. This includes, but is not limited to, bachelor’s degrees with honors, bachelor’s degrees in medicine, surgery, dentistry, and veterinary science, as well as online and non-award programs. International students transferring from combined programs, SACM and Australia Awards students, as well as any other government scholarships/sponsorships paying the entire cost of tuition, are not eligible. Neither are study abroad and exchange students.
