Eligibility Criteria

All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Knight Hennessy Scholars Award at Stanford University, USA 2023-24:

There are two fundamental criteria for qualifying.
First, you must apply to, be accepted by, and enroll in a full-time Stanford graduate degree program, such as, but not limited to, a DMA, JD, MA, MBA, MD, MFA, MPP, MS, or PhD program in addition to applying to Knight-Hennessy Scholars (KHS). At least one of the following four requirements must be met by you:

You are applying separately but simultaneously to KHS and a full-time graduate program at Stanford so that you can begin both in the same academic year.
You will apply to KHS so that you can start both in the same year even if you have already been admitted to a full-time Stanford graduate degree program and have chosen to delay your start date.
You are a current graduate student at Stanford who will submit an application to add a second full-time graduate degree program so that you can begin KHS and the new program in the same academic year.
You are currently enrolled in your first year of the PhD program at Stanford, and you plan to apply to KHS so that you can begin KHS in your second year of PhD enrollment.
Second, you must hold a U.S. bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or university, or its equivalent, as of January 2017 or later. You need to have obtained your bachelor’s degree by January 2017 or later in order to apply to join the cohort in 2024.
