All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the PhD Scholarships for International Students at University College Cork, Ireland 2022-23:

  • The applicant(s) who are chosen may be sure that by earning their Ph.D. at UCC, they will be on the correct track to a prosperous academic career.
  • The recipient of a scholarship will be expected, if qualified, to submit one or, if necessary, two applications, under the supervision and advice of the supervisor, for financing for external research under the Irish Research Council (IRC) Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme.
