Non-EU/EEA students in the Netherlands can apply for HAN Holland Scholarships at HAN University of Applied Sciences.

Students having an IELTS score of at least 6.5, a TOEFL iBT score of at least 90, or a Cambridge Certificate will be considered for the award (CAE or CPE). The scholarship is worth a total of € 12,500 and will be paid out during the course of their bachelor’s degree.

Eligibility Criteria

All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Scholarships For Non-EU/EEA Students at HAN University, Netherlands 2022:

  • You are a citizen of a country that is not a member of the EU/EEA.
  • You have not previously enrolled in a degree program at a Dutch university or university of applied sciences.
  • You’ve been accepted into HAN’s full-time English-taught bachelor’s degree program.

Please note that all degrees begin in September, with only a few beginning in February.
  3. Make an application for a scholarship.
  4. The following three items must be prepared next:
    • A letter of inspiration You should describe why you will be a successful HAN student in this section.
    • A one-minute video of yourself is 3 minutes maximum. Consider the following:
      1. Describe yourself and your areas of expertise. What would prior teachers or friends say about you?
      2. Tell us about the course of study you’ve selected at HAN.
      3. Assume you’re part of a team. What character would you play, and why, based on your personality and/or experience?
      4. What are your professional goals? What do you believe you’ll be doing professionally in 10 years and where do you think you’ll be?

  5. Send your application in.
