Scholarship Award Benefits

Success candidates in the USA are awarded scholarship benefits of $1,000 annually

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants have to be a continuing, F-1 or  J-1 verified student of University Of Nevada. 

Candidates must have completed any of the Graduate or Undergraduate application in MyNEVADA on or before February 1 every year. ( Application portal opens by November 1 every year)

Applicants must have met tje SAP requirements 

For undergraduate applicants, a minimum GPA of 2.75 is required while 3.0 is required for graduate courses.

For every semester when the award will be presented, applicants have enrolled in a total of 15 university credits while 9 or 6(with graduate assistantship) university credits is required for Graduate students.

Final students must register for a minimum of 5 University credits and application for graduation and request of the semester award must have been placed. 

Disabled students can enroll for half the full-time. s

Application Procedure

To be a beneficiary of this scheme:

Freshman and returnees are required to complete the Graduate & Undergraduate Scholarship (GUS) Application in their MyNEVADA before February 1 with the opening date set at Oct 1. 

This should be done by reaching out to the Student Center, filling Supplement.forms and the Scholarship Application forms

GUS application deadline is May 31 but preference will be given to those who completed my Feb 1.
