• Has attained a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on coursework taken at the University of Manitoba; has completed at least 30 credits of coursework in any degree at the university;
• Has exhibited participation in the community;
• Has successfully completed at least one course in judaic studies at the University of Manitoba; is enrolled full- or part-time in a judaic studies program at the University of Manitoba or another accredited university (Canadian or foreign) in the academic year in which the scholarship is available; with the following restrictions:
  • Any approved university will accept registration from students pursuing academic programs of study; or In order to enroll in a theological program of study, a student must attend an Orthodox Jewish post-secondary school that has been accredited.

• Candidates must submit an application along with a statement (of no more than 500 words) outlining their participation in the community and specifying the college or university they want to attend. 
• The applicant’s professional aspirations should also be covered in the statement, along with how their commitment in the community has helped them get there.
