All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the School of the Environment, Geography, and Geosciences Scholarships at the University of Portsmouth, UK 2023-24:
- The candidates must be overseas students who self-fund their studies and:
- Before Thursday, June 29, 2023, accept a full-time master’s degree offer starting in September 2023 from one of the programs indicated above.
- First- or upper-second-class (2:1) honors in their undergraduate degree; Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi, Cameroonian, Nigerian, or Ghanaian nationality.
Application Procedure
The following procedure remains the only viable route to apply rightfully:
- Application for the SEGG Scholarship must be submitted by candidates. On the homepage for their preferred degree course, candidates will discover a “Apply Now” option to submit an application for a degree program. In order to get a tuition price reduction, selected scholarship candidates must accept their participation in the program within two weeks of being notified of their selection.
- Supporting records: The following documentation is required of applicants: two references, evidence of academic qualifications, and evidence of English language ability. Additionally, candidates must prepare a personal statement.
- Entry requirements: Depending on the course a student is enrolled in, their place of origin, and their academic record, different entry criteria apply. To find out if you qualify, see the course page for the chosen course’s entrance criteria.
