Brief Description

A variety of multidisciplinary courses on China are offered by the fully-funded residential program The Yenching Academy in the humanities and social sciences.

Yenching Scholars have the freedom to choose their own study pathways by selecting from six research topics and a range of extracurricular activities, all while working closely with their academic advisors. Studying at the Academy offers a singular opportunity for intellectual and intercultural interchange as well as for professional and personal growth.

Eligibility Criteria

All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Fully Funded Yenching Academy Masters Fellowships at Peking University, China 2023-24:

• a Bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, in any area, conferred no later than August 31 of the year they desire to enter;
• An exceptional academic record;
• a keen interest in multidisciplinary China studies;
• A history of extracurricular accomplishments, participation in the community, and social responsibility;
